Fans are going to have to wait just a bit longer for the debut of The Orville: New Horizons.

Hulu announced in Sept. 2021 that The Orville: New Horizons would debut in March 2022. Since then things have been quiet, but it appears that it’s going to take a bit more work than was first anticipated. Hulu announced on Friday that the new season – the third overall – will debut on June 2, 2022.
To make up for this delay, the streaming service released a look at the opening moments of the new season as well as the brand-new opening credits.
The first two seasons of The Orville aired on the Fox network, and has now moved to Hulu for its third season. The series is created by Seth MacFarlane and follows the adventures of the crew of The Orville. The series combines comedy and drama while remaining very much in a similar style to Star Trek. Seasons one and two are currently available on Hulu.
The Orville: New Horizons will debut on Hulu on June 2, 2022.
