The Loyal Subjects are in an interesting position in the world of blind box toys. The company is in major retailers such as Walmart and 7-Eleven, and have found ways to sell its products while doing both blind box and open box packaging. It’s an interesting mix, and one they seem to be excelling at.
At Toy Fair 2019 the company had a ton of new product to show off, but one of the most interesting things was the expansion of its Masters of the Universe line. While an entirely new series of figures is on the way, the company is also opting to add in Battle Cat and Panthor for the figures to ride on. These will be sold in an open box configuration, so no need to guess on which one you’ll be getting.
Alien is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2019, and Predator is a property that just keeps going no matter what it seems. The Loyal Subjects had new products on display for both properties at Toy Fair.
It felt like we saw more Game of Thrones product this year than any previous year, and all of it is timed to come out in conjunction with the final season. The line of figures is going to be extensive, and all of it looks impressive. For the scale, that Jon Snow figure strikes an amazing resemblance.
Ghostbusters seemed to be everywhere at Toy Fair with every company having some sort of take on the property. The Loyal Subjects will be coming out with a blind box line, and by far the purple ghosts were the best pieces. Your eye was just immediately drawn to how striking they are.
Wrapping up this year was Aggretsuko and the addition of a very stylized version of Hot Wheels.
All in all, it looks like it’s going to be another winning year for The Loyal Subjects and we can’t wait to pick some of these pieces.
