Alita wins a quiet Presidents Day weekend

It was the quietest Presidents Day Weekend in 15 years, but someone had to win.

First place went to Alita: Battle Angel with just $27.8M. Domestically it sits at $36.51M, and globally at $130.88M off of a $170M budget.

LEGO Movie 2 took the second spot this weekend with $21.21M. It now sits at $62.69M domestically and $97.39M globally.

Third place went to the opening weekend of Isn’t it Romantic with $14.21M.

What Men Want landed in fourth place with $10.929M and now sits at $36.15M off of a $20M budget.

Fifth place went to Happy Death Day 2U with $9.81M off of a $9M budget.

This week’s wide-releases will be How to Train Your Dragon 3 and Fighting with My Family.
