Slender Man Trailer – So Much Creeping in the Dark

From internet meme to a real-world horror story, Slender Man is everywhere, and in just a few weeks he’ll take over movie theaters.

Sony Pictures has released a second Slender Man trailer, and while we’re all for atmosphere, this film is just so dark. Not in the sense of the tone, it is literally just dark. As someone who grew up with the slasher films of the 1980s, I’m not opposed to nighttime scenes to be certain, but this just appears murky and hard to tell what’s going on.

Here’s hoping the finished product in the theater will be better.

Slender Man will hit theaters on Aug. 10.
