Marvel announces titles for Black Panther 2 and Captain Marvel 2

Marvel Studios has shared some new sequel titles, release dates, and a hint at another movie that is on the way in the future.

Marvel opted to spice up everyone’s Monday morning with some news on upcoming films. Here is the whole video that Marvel Studios released. It is definitely worth checking out as it also features the first footage from The Eternals.

It’s clear that there is a lot of Marvel adventures on the way, with four films due out this year alone. And seeing as the final solid date in the video is May of 2023, something tells us that isn’t the end of announcements for that year.

Of the major announcements made, first up are some sequel title changes along with new release dates.

Black Panther 2 is now officially known as Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and will hit theaters on July 8, 2022.

Captain Marvel 2 will hit theaters on Nov. 11, 2022 as The Marvels. And, judging by that logo, Ms. Marvel will play a significant role in the story. Her Disney Plus series is currently filming, so it looks as though watching that series could be quite important to the film.

Towards the end of the video was also a very slight tease that didn’t include a full title or a release date, but it’s definite that a Fantastic Four movie is on the way. This will be the latest attempt at turning the original Marvel family into a film series, but something tells us that Marvel Studios will be the ones to finally get it right.

  • Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings – Sept.3, 2021
  • The Eternals – Nov. 5, 2021
  • Spider-Man: No Way Home – Dec. 17, 2021
  • Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness – March 25, 2022
  • Thor: Love and Thunder – May 6, 2022
  • Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – July 8, 2022
  • The Marvels – Nov. 11, 2022
  • Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania – Feb. 17, 2023
  • Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 – May 5, 2023
  • Fantastic Four – To be announced

And keep in mind that amongst all of these films will also be multiple series on Disney Plus.
