Honest Thief takes the top spot at the box office

Another weekend has come to a close for theaters across the U.S., and things don’t appear to be looking up any time soon.

First place this weekend to the new Liam Neeson action film, Honest Thief. It took in $3.7M from 2,125 screens across North America.

The War With Grandpacame in second with $2.5M. It now stands at $7.2M domestically and $9.12M globally.

Third place went to Tenet with $1.6M for a new domestic total of $50.6M and a global haul of $333.9M off of a $200M budget.

The Nightmare Before Christmas landed in fourth place with $1.32M.

Fifth place went to Hocus Pocus which took in $756K from 1,640 screens.

With some theaters shut down, these numbers aren’t going to be improving any time soon. New York state is reopening some theaters outside of New York City, but they will be limited to 25% capacity in most places.
