Hawkeye series delay denied by Disney

It seems that the reports of Hawkeye’s ‘death’ may have been premature.

Last week a report surfaced from Murphy’s Multiverse – which has a good track record on these sorts of stories – that the Hawkeye series had been pulled from the Disney Plus production schedule. There was no indication that it had been outright canceled, but it did set people to wondering what may be happening.

Now it appears the report may be incorrect.

Julia Alexander of the Verge reached out to Disney and was told that the information was “completely inaccurate.” This is interesting in that studio lines on stories such as this are usually that they do not confirm or deny rumors, so a flat out denial is unusual.

For now, we would say to consider Hawkeye still on the table for production, but we’re definitely going to be keeping an eye on this one to see if anything changes.
