Glass wins a quiet Super Bowl weekend at the box office

Super Bowl weekend is always a quiet one at the box office, and this year is no different.

Glass took the top spot this weekend with $9.53M for a new domestic total of $88.65M and a global total of $198.95M off of a $20M budget.

Second place went to The Upside with $8.85M for a new domestic total of $75.59M and a global total of $81.69M off of a $37.5M budget.

Miss Bala debuted in third place with $6.7M off of a $15M budget.

Fourth place went to Aquaman with $4.78M for a new domestic total of $323.57M. Its new global total sits at $1.106B.

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, landed in fifth place with $4.41M. It now sits at $175.28M domestic and $347.28M global off of a $90M budget.

This week’s wide-releases will be The LEGO Movie 2, Cold Pursuit, The Prodigy, and What Men Want.
