Fantastic Beasts take the top spot at the box office

It appears that the Wizarding World has lost some of its magic.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore took the top spot at the box office with $43M. Its global total now stands at $193.4M.

Second place went to Sonic The Hedgehog 2 with $30M in the U.S. for a new domestic total of $119.61M. The global total now stands at $189.48M.

Third place went to the Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum rom-com adventure The Lost City with $6.5M. The new domestic total sits at $78.57M.

Everything Everywhere All At Once came in fourth with $6.18M for a new domestic total of $17.69M.

Fifth went to Father Stu with $5.7M.

This week’s major release is The Bad Guys, The Northman, and The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent.
