Netflix has released a Cowboy Bebop teaser and it is an anime come to life.

Entitled “Lost Session,” the teaser gives us a good look at the style of the series and our first decent looks at the Bebop and Swordfish II.

We don’t know if this is how the editing will look throughout the series, but it certainly has our attention. If this is a taste of how Netflix may handle live-action anime going forward, color us intrigued to be  sure.

COWBOY BEBOP is an action-packed space Western about three bounty hunters, aka “cowboys,” all trying to outrun the past. As different as they are deadly, Spike Spiegel (John Cho), Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir), and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda) form a scrappy, snarky crew ready to hunt down the solar system’s most dangerous criminals — for the right price. But they can only kick and quip their way out of so many scuffles before their pasts finally catch up with them.

Cowboy Bebop will debut on Netflix on Nov. 19.
