Bad Boys for Life arrests the top spot at the box office

It seems that everyone was ready to see Will Smith and Martin Lawrence team up once again.

First place this weekend went to Bad Boys for Life with an overperformance of $59.17M domestic and a foreign haul of $38.6M for a total of $97.77M.

Dolittle opened in second place with $22.53M domestically and $27.3M foreign for a total of $49.83M.

Third place went to 1917 with $22.14M for a new domestic total of $76.75M. The foreign numbers are $61.9M for a global total of $138.65M.

Jumanji: The Next Level took in $9.56M for a domestic total of $270.47M and a global total of $708.47M.

Fifth place went to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker with $8.37M for a domestic total of $492M and a global total of $1.026B.

This week’s wide releases will be The Gentlemen/em> and The Turning.
