It’s time for another dose of zombie fighting as Zack Snyder returns to the Dead universe for a heist movie.

Zack Snyder made his feature film directorial debut with 2004’s Dawn of the Dead. While his next film, 300, was his breakthrough film, Dawn has become a cult classic and is looked back upon fondly due to Snyder’s directing and a script from James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy, The Suicide Squad). While Snyder has moved on to even bigger notoriety with his DC films – including the upcoming Zack Snyder’s Justice League – he’s also found some time to revisit his zombie roots.
Snyder’s next film will be the Netflix original Army of the Dead. The film stars Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Ana de la Reguera, Matthias Schweighöfer, Nora Arnezeder, Hiroyuki Sanada, Raúl Castillo, Michael Cassidy, and Garret Dillahunt as they head into a zombie filled Vegas tfor a heist to steal a vault full of money. Will they make it out before the government nukes the city to keep the outbreak from spreading?
Following a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, a group of mercenaries take the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.
Army of the Dead will ht Netflix on May 21.
