First place went to The Croods: A New Age with $9.71M for the three-day weekend, and is at a domestic total of $14.12M since its debut on Wednesday.
Freaky came in second with $770K for a new domestic total of $7.02M and a global total of $10.65M.
Third place went to The War With Grandpa with $643K. It now sits at $17.25M domestically and $23.15M globally.
Let Him Go landed in fourth place with $453K for a new domestic total of $8.74M.
Fifth place went to Come Play with $387K for a new domestic total of $8.7M.
This marks the second weekend in a row of only one film breaking the $1M mark. With additional theaters shutting down in the coming days around the U.S., the numbers are certain to drop further. When they will return to survivable levels is anyone’s guess at the moment.
