The Free Guy trailer shows us like when Hollywood actors finally meet and get a chance to work together… again.
Free Guy is an upcoming sci-fi comedy about a man (Reynolds) who discovers he is a background character in an open-world video game that’s about to go offline. It is being directed by Shawn Levy (Stranger Things) and written by Matt Lieberman (The Christmas Chronicles).
It must be exciting for actors to finally get a chance to work with someone they’ve admired. I mean, just look at how excited Reynolds is to meet Waititi. I’m sure they’ll get along great and will proudly display this movie on their resumes, and…
Wait a minute… weren’t they in Green Lantern together?
Maybe someday both these men will be able to forget that horrible moment, but for now, it makes good comedy.
Free Guy will hit theaters on July 3, 2020.
