Thor: Love and Thunder won the weekend with $143M, a new high opening for a Thor film. It took in $159M in the foreign markets for a global total stands at $399.88M.
Second place went to Minions: The Rise of Gru with $45.55M for a new domestic total of $210.07M. The global total of $221.6M.
Top Gun: Maverick came in third with $15.5M for a new domestic total of $597.4M, and a global total of $1.141B.
Fourth place went to Elvis with $11M for a new domestic total of $91.12M. Globally it sits at $155.12M.
Jurassic World: Dominion came in fourth with $8.41M for a new domestic total of $350.32M. The global total now stands at $876.47M.
This week’s major releases are Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris, Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank, and Where the Crawdads Sing.
