CBS All Access has debuted a new trailer for Star Trek Picard, and it features a ton of new footage as well as some new guest stars.
We see a good assortment of old friends from the Enterprise-D including Data (Brent Spiner), Riker (Jonathan Frakes), and Deanna Troi (Marina Sirtis). Of course, we also see Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan) who had already been revealed.
What exactly the plot of the series is still isn’t entirely clear. It appears a very human-looking girl may be a Borg, and Picard feels he has to protect her. Honestly, they could tell us this new series would be nothing but Picard making wine and we’d still tune in because it’s Capt. Picard.
And we could hear him say, “Make it… vino.” I mean, we’d love it if he did.
Star Trek: Picard will debut on Jan. 23, 2020.
