The second season of Star Trek Discovery is finally taking shape, and we have a trailer to share with you. Not only do we get to see the younger version of Spock, but he’s sporting a pretty epic beard.
Looks like there will be a lot of interesting things going on this season. From finally meeting Spock to a more traditional Klingon Battle Cruiser appearing in a hologram. (We can’t just assume Discovery encounters it, but it seems like a safe bet.)
It seems that the story will still be dealing with a lot of the ramifications of season 1, especially since we see the evil version of Philippa Georgiou (Michelle Yeoh) running around again. And with Christopher Pike (Anson Mount) assuming command of the Discovery, that opens all sorts of doors for new adventures.
Star Trek Discovery season 2 will debut on CBS All Access on Jan. 17, 2019.
