If there is one thing you can count on, it’s a Marvel movie to take the top spot at the box office in its opening weekend.
First place this week went to Spider-Man: Far From Home with $93.6M. That brings the six-day U.S. total for the film to $185M, coming in ahead of the projections. Globally it sits at $580.05M off of a $160M budget.
Toy Story 4 took second place with $34.3M. Domestically the movie sits at $306.55M. Combined with $343.4M in foreign sales the film sits at a global total of $649.95M.
Third place went to Yesterday with $10.75M for a new domestic total of $36.88M. Globally it sits at $56.98M off of a $26M budget.
Annabelle Comes Home landed in fourth place with $9.75M, bringing its domestic total to $50.15M. It has scored $84.6M overseas for a global total of $134.75M.
Rounding out the top five was Aladdin with $7.6M and a new domestic total of $320.78M. Globally the film now sits at $921.68M off of a $183M budget.
This week’s wide-releases will be Crawl and Stuber.
