Rise of Skywalker wins a third weekend at the box office

The big news isn’t who won this weekend, but just how soon a Frozen III is announced.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker came in first for its third weekend with $33.73M for a new domestic total of $450.79M. Internationally it has pulled in $468M for a new global total of $918.79M

Second place went to Jumanji: The Next Level with $26.5M for a new domestic total of $236.2M and globally has hit $610.2M.

Little Women came in third place with $13.57M and now sits at $60.02M domestically and $80.42M globally.

Fourth place went to The Grudge with $11.3M.

Frozen II landed in fifth place with $11.29M. It now stands at $449.87M domestically and $875.3M overseas for a global total of $1.325B.

This week’s wide releases will be Like a Boss, Underwater, 1917, and Just Mercy.
