As the coronavirus continues to surge in Southern California, multiple networks and production companies are choosing to delay resuming production on more than 20 television series. While many shows were expected to return to work this week, they will now be delayed until at least Jan. 11 as the situation is studied.
Shows that fall under this plan include Mom, B Positive, Bob Hearts Abishola, Shameless, You, Mr. Mayor, Kenan, Good Girls, and many more.
The various trade unions have agreed with these decisions, and the county’s public health department urged the plan.
As the cases continue to rise with California hitting more records in the past few days, expect the delays to be extended.
