Cats is heading for theaters, and now we’re finally getting a look at what we can expect from the film before its first trailer hits.
Of all the films hitting theaters this year, one of the most secretive has been the film adaptation of the musical Cats. We’ve known the majority of the cast for some time, and we started to hear some rumors about over-sized sets, but we have still yet to see how the cast looks.
All of that will change when the first trailer is released on Friday, but for now we’re getting a bit of a look behind the scenes of the film.
We won’t beat around the bush here, people have a very love or hate relationship with this property. It’s doubtful this film will be any different, but we have to say the sets have us intrigued. Scaling them up in a practical manner for humans to look cat-sized is an interesting idea. How will it look in the finished product? We’ll have to wait and see.
Cats will star Taylor Swift, James Corden, Jennifer Hudson, Ian McKellen, Idris Elba, Judi Dench, Rebel Wilson, Jason Derulo, and many more.
Cats will hit theaters on Dec. 20.
