The first Creed III trailer has arrived, and it seems there’s no enemy like the past.

Creed III is the latest in the popular expansion to the Rocky Franchise. Michael B. Jordan not only returns to the titular role this time, but is also making his directing debut. There is no Rocky Balboa this time, but this is still very much the world he created all those years ago with the original Rocky.
This time, the story is from Ryan Coogler, Keenan Coogler, and Zach Baylin. Keenan and Baylin are also receiving script credits for this new entry.
In addition to Jordan returning, we will see Tessa Thompson (Bianca Taylor) and Phylicia Rashad (Mary Anne Creed) back for this entry. Jonathan Majors is joining as Damian Anderson, Donnie’s childhood friend looking to make a name for himself.
This is the ninth film in the overall series that started back in 1976. Something tells us it also won’t be the last.
Creed III will hit theaters on March 3, 2023.
