Thor: Love and Thunder won the weekend with $46M, a drop of 68%. The new domestic total sits at $233.27M, and the global total stands at $497.87M.

Second place went to Minions: The Rise of Gru with $26M for a new domestic total of $262.56M. The global total of $532.71M.

Where the Crawdads Sing opened in third place with $17M.

Fourth place went to Top Gun: Maverick with $12M for a new domestic total of $617.96M, now making it Paramount’s highest-grossing film in the U.S. The global total sits at $1.162B.

Elvis landed in fifth place with $7.6M for a new domestic total of $106.2M. Globally it sits at $185.6M.
