The second Thor: Love and Thunder trailer has arrived, giving us a good look at the villain, Gorr, the God Butcher.

Marvel Studios has hit a new landmark with Thor being the first character to receive a fourth solo film. A fact that is made all that more impressive when you realize many people consider the second film – Thor: The Dark World – to be the worst film so far. Thor: Love and Thunder will see the arrival of Gorr, the God Butcher, played by Christian Bale. He has a vendetta against anyone who calls themselves a God, and he’s out to kill all of them.
Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) also returns to the series, but with a bit of a boost. As her character did in the comics, she will pick up Mjolnir and become another version of Thor. How this will be explained in the film will be interesting, as in the comics, it turned into a pretty tragic storyline.
Also returning for this film will be Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) and Korg (Taika Waititi).
Thor: Love and Thunder will hit theaters on July 8.
