Amazon Prime is launching a new adaptation of the 1973 Lois Duncan novel, I Know What You Did Last Summer. Last made into a film in 1997, the new series will ignore the film and be a completely new take on the story.
The eight-episode series will launch on Amazon Prime Video on Oct. 15, just in time for the Halloween season.
Madison Iseman, Brianne Tju, Ezekiel Goodman, Ashley Moore, Sebastian Amoruso, Fiona Rene, Cassie Beck, Brooke Bloom, and Bill Heck star in the new adaptation.
While the film led to sequels, we’ll have to wait and see if Amazon wants to take the television version any further.
