It seems that not every movie theater chain is going to rush into shutting down once again.

Following on from the news that Cineworld/Regal Cinemas will be temporarily shutting down, AMC and Cinemark are going the other direction.
Cinemark, the third-largest chain in the U.S., was the first to confirm its plans to stay open for the foreseeable future. This was later followed by the world’s largest exhibitor, AMC.
“We take great comfort in knowing that literally millions of moviegoers have already visited our theatres,” AMC CEO and President Adam Aron said in a statement. “They have done so in part because of our AMC Safe & Clean protocols, developed in consultation with Clorox and faculty of the Harvard University School of Public Health. Our guests are telling us that our theatres have never been cleaner, and that they recognize the great effort AMC is making to keep them healthy and safe.”
The question remains, however, how much content there will be to show. It is believed that Cineworld made its decision based on the delay of No Time to Die. The closure of Cineworld then appears to have caused Warner Bros. to go through a massive schedule shift. Will there be enough content to keep all of these locations open will become an even bigger question than if they should be open.
