UPDATE: The CW has released 11 more images, but still no synopsis of the episode.
When Legacies ended season 1 on The CW, it was clear that season 2 was going to need to do some adjusting to cope with the conclusion.
Hope Mikaelson (Danielle Rose Russell) sacrificed herself to Malivore to save the world. The fallout of this, however, was that no one would remember that she ever existed. With the first three images from the Legacies season 2 premiere having been released, it would seem that the world is just fine without her in it.
The new images from the Legacies season 2 premiere, “I’ll Never Give Up Hope,” show Josie Saltzman (Kaylee Bryant), Lizzie Saltzman (Jenny Boyd), Landon Kirby (Aria Shahghasemi), M.G. (Quincy Fouse) and Alaric Saltzman (Matt Davis) going about their everyday lives. Although we’re not quite sure we ever imagined Josie and Landon playing chess out on the sidewalk.
Legacies season 2 will more than likely spend a good amount of time dealing with how Hope will return. How exactly one comes back from there is sure to take some figuring out, especially when no one knows you’re even there.
Legacies season 2 will premiere on The CW on Oct. 10.
