The first full Punisher season 2 trailer has arrived and it appears that Frank just can’t get away from the violence that always surrounds him.
As you may remember, at the end of season 1 Frank (Jon Bernthal) received a full pardon from the government. It appears that he won’t be able to keep his nose clean, though. Between someone dressed as a killer priest, Billy Russo (Ben Barnes) forming an army, and the government back on the hunt, clearly it’s not going to be an easy season for the Punisher.
Our suggestion is to enjoy it while you can as more than likely this will be the final season. With Netflix having already canceled Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Daredevil, it seems as though this series meeting an untimely end is only a matter of when it’s announced.
Punisher season 2 will debut on Jan. 18.
