The Disney Plus Loki series has added Owen Wilson to the cast, but in an unknown role.

Wilson, an Oscar-nominated writer for Bottle Rocket, is a very busy actor most days. He has starred in multiple Wes Anderson films (The Royal Tenenbaums, The Darjeeling Limited, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou) and comedies (The Wedding Crashers, Zoolander).

Loki is part of Marvel’s Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and is currently filming. Tom Hiddleston is starring in the series that will see the God of Mischief jumping through time. The series is expected to debut on Disney Plus sometime in Spring 2021.

Hiddleston has portrayed Loki in seven Marvel films so far, last appearing in Avengers: Endgame.

With the time aspect of this series, there’s no way to guess who Wilson will be portraying, but it understood to be a significant role.
