During its quarterly earning reports on Wednesday, the Walt Disney Company revealed that the long-awaited Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi series will premiere on May 25. The date, of course, holds significance as the anniversary of the original film’s release in 1977.

To go along with the announcement, Disney revealed a new promotional poster.

Obi-Wan Kenobi - Poster - 01

Obi-Wan Kenobi is set 10 years after the events of Revenge of the Sith which saw Obi-Wan go into exile to keep a watchful eye over the infant Luke Skywalker. This would also place it before the events of the Rebels animated series which saw Obi-Wan in one pivotal storyline.

Ewan McGregor reprises his role as Obi-Wan and will be joined by Hayden Christensen returning as Darth Vader. Other stars include Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie.

Hoe Kenobi will get embroiled in galactic affairs once again remains to be seen.

Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi premieres on Disney Plus on May 25.
