While some other streaming services are shying away from producing so many original movies, it seems that not only is Netflix going for quantity, but also quite a bit of star power. With casts including Jennifer Lopez, Gal Gadot, Jonah Hill, Eddie Murphy, Reese Witherspoon, Ashton Kutcher, Idris Elba, and many more, the company seems to have a definite plan in place for high-end films.

The known film schedule breaks down as follows:

  • You People – Jan. 27
  • Your Place or Mine – Feb. 10
  • We Have a Ghost – Feb. 23
  • Luther: The Fallen Sun – March 10
  • Murder Mystery 2 – March 31
  • The Mother – May 12
  • Extraction 2 – June 16
  • They Cloned Tyrone – July 21
  • Heart of Stone – Aug. 11
  • Lift – Aug. 25
  • Damsel – Oct. 13
  • Pain Hustlers – Oct. 27
  • The Killer – Nov. 10
  • A Family Affair – Nov. 17
  • Leo – Nov. 22
  • Leave the World Behind – Dec. 8
  • Rebel Moon – Dec. 22

There are more films than the ones listed here, but it is clearly going to be a very busy year on Netflix.
