Canada’s Citytv has ordered Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent with a 10-episode season planned. Production is set to begin in the fall, with a spring 2024 premiere planned.
The new series will focus on Canadian stories that will be written, produced, and star Canadians. The elite squad of detectives will be tasked with investigating high-profile crime and corruption throughout Toronto.
The U.S. currently has three Law & Order franchises running: The revived original, Law & Order: SVU, and Law & Order: Organized Crime. Former Law & Order: Criminal Intent star Vincent D’Onofrio has actually been lobbying for the series to return and is willing to reprise his role.
This is definitely true.
Up to you fans and Mr. Wolf.
I'd love for Kate and I to return.

This is not the first time that Law * Order has had an international version. Previously, Law & Order: UK ran in the United Kingdom for eight seasons.
With the proximity to the U.S., one has to wonder if we may see a crossover with the new Canadian version, but only time will tell.
No word as of yet if Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent will be shown anywhere in the U.S.
