John Walsh is returning to America’s Most Wanted, 12 years after the original series was canceled.

Fox has announced that its America’s Most Wanted revival is finally returning. The series relaunched in 2021 for one season with Elizabeth Vargas as the host. It was announced in November that it finally was getting another season, but the fact John Walsh was retuning wasn’t announced until December.
Walsh hosted the original series that ran from 1988 to 2011. Over both iterations of the series, it has been credited with leading to 1,190 arrests.
Joining his father for the series will be Callahan Walsh. The younger Walsh is a child advocate for the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
Season 2 of the series is slated to debut on Jan. 22, 2024.
