Marvel Studios remained in the top spot at the box office despite taking a big dip in its second weekend.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness took the top spot at the box office in its second weekend with $61M, a drop of 67% from its opening window. This brings its domestic total to $291.86M, and its global total to $613M. Of interesting note, the first film in 2016 did $232.64M in total in its original theatrical run.
Second place went to The Bad Guys with $6.9M for a new domestic total of $66.28M. Its global total stands at $165.55M.
Sonic The Hedgehog 2 came in third with $4.55M in the U.S. for a new domestic total of $175.69M. The global total now stands at $338.29M.
Fourth place went to Firestarter with $3.82M.
Everything Everywhere All At Once landed in fifth place with $3.3M for a new domestic total of $47.1M. Globally it sits at $52.1M.
This week’s major releases are Downton Abbey: A New Era and Men.
