First place this week went to Blue Beetle with $25.4M at the domestic box office. It took in a further $18M at the foreign box office for a global total of $43.4M.
Barbie came in second with $21.5M for a new domestic total of $567.13M. It has taken in $659.9M in the foreign markets for a global total of $1.227B off of an estimated budget of $155M.
Third place went to Oppenheimer with $10.6M for a new domestic total of $285.22M. It has taken in $432.6M overseas for a global total of $717.82M.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem landed in fourth place with $8.42M for a new domestic total of $88.13M. It has taken in $30.3M in the foreign markets for a global total of $118.43M
Fifth place went to Strays with $8.3M. It took in a further $2M in the foreign markets for a global opening of $10.3M.
This week’s wide releases are Gran Turismo, The Hill, and Retribution.
