Black Widow Movie to Earn Scarlett Johansson Huge Payday

Scarlett Johansson has landed a huge payday for her upcoming appearance in the MCU standalone Black Widow movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, multiple sources close to the situation have confirmed that Johansson is slated to earn $15 million for the Black Widow movie.

The $15 million salary matches the number Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth were paid for their appearances in Avengers: Infinity War and their own standalone movies Captain America: Civil War and Thor: Ragnarok. The sum the three actors are getting paid is quite impressive, but it still pales in comparison to what Robert Downey Jr. earns. He was reportedly paid $50 million for playing Tony Stark Jr. in the first Avengers movie.

With the contract already settled, this paves the way for Johansson to begin shooting the Black Widow movie sometime early next year. It will mark the second movie Marvel has made that solely focuses on a female character after Captain Marvel.

The next time we’ll see Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow will be in Avengers 4.
