The first Andor trailer has arrived giving us a look at the 12-episode first season of the Rogue One prequel series.

At long last Lucasfilm has shared the first look at its upcoming series that will tell the story of Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) in the time leading up to the events of Rogue One.
Season 1 will consist of 12-episodes and be set five years before the events of Rogue One. Season 2, which has already been approved, will also consist of 12-episodes and will be set four years before the film. The series will end with a direct lead into the film.
The “Andor” series will explore a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.
Andor will debut on Aug. 31.
