The Odyssey Wins Top Spot at the Box Office

Christopher Nolan is once again proving he has become an IP onto himself.

The Odyssey took the top spot at the box office with $124.5M. It took in a further $139.56M in the foreign markets for a global opening of $264.06M.

Second place went to Moana with $19M for a new domestic total of $82.08M. It has taken in $96.4M in the foreign markets for a global total of $178.48M.

Minions & Monsters took third place with $14.8M for a new domestic total of $137.58M. It has taken in $220.29M in the foreign markets for a global total of $357.87M.

Fourth place went to Toy Story 5 with $14.8M for a new domestic total of $430.91M. It has taken in a further $477.54M in the foreign markets for a global total of $908.46M.

Evil Dead Burn landed in fifth place with $5M for a new domestic total of $24.15M. It took in $11.32M in the foreign markets for a new global total of $35.48M.

The wide releases this week are Bad Counselors, Her Private Hell, Motor City, and Pinoccho Unstrung.
