WWE and Netflix have signed a multi-year deal that will see WWE Raw moving to the streaming service beginning in Jan. 2025.

Netflix has been experimenting with live sports from time to time, but it seems that the streaming giant has decided it’s time to get serious about its prospects. Beginning in Jan. 2025, Netflix will become the exclusive home of the weekly WWE Raw both domestically and internationally for 10 years. The deal, said to be worth $5B will also see Netflix secure the international rights to Smackdown and NXT.
The deal is set for 10 years with the option for an extension of an additional 10 years. Netflix will also have the ability to opt-out after the initial five years of the deal.
Peacock currently holds the domestic streaming rights to the rest of the WWE current content and its extensive library. No word on if there has been any discussion of that moving as of yet, but one would be remiss if they didn’t think it was a possibility. Peacock paid $1B for that deal and it is believed to expire in 2026. By then, Netflix will have a lot more data available about how well this will work, and it seems safe to assume there will be some discussions.
For now, WWE Raw will remain at the USA Network for the remainder of 2024.
