ABC has unveiled an updated Fall 2023 schedule as the Writers Guild of America and SAG-AFTRA strikes continue through the dog days of summer.

While the WGA and AMPTP have begun to resume some of their discussions, the TV networks are scrambling to find ways to fill their scheduling blocks for fall. At this juncture, the earliest production could resume on various TV shows would be around the holidays, and that means no new scripted material until some time in 2024. With that in mind, ABC us turning heavily to reality and game shows for the fall, with some shows even moving out of their normal positions.
