The Toys That Made Us season 3 release date has finally been announced. Mark your calendars for Nov. 15, 2019.

It will probably come as no surprise, but we love the Toys That Made Us around The Nerdy. For the past two Toy Fairs I’ve rewatched all of the episodes to make sure I’m up on my knowledge. This series has done an amazing job of bringing out trivia that few people have ever heard.

After an 18-month break, the series is back with four new episodes. Season three will cover the histories of Power Rangers, Wrestling, My Little Pony, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. These topics are such obvious targets it’s amazing we didn’t think of them sooner.

While the series feels like a salute to the 1980s, it also tells you a lot about the complications of the toy industry as a whole. For items that seem so innocent and simple, there’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes to get those items to store shelves.

With this new set of episodes, I’ll just have to start my Toy Fair 2020 warm-up watch that much sooner.
