Spider-Man: No Way Home wins the New Year’s weekend

Spider-Man walked away with a third win at the box office over the holiday weekend.

Spider-Man: No Way Home came in with $52.7M for a new domestic total of $609.89M. Internationally it has taken in $644.9M for a global total of $1.25B. We’ll see if it can score a fourth win.

Second place went to Sing 2 with $19.6M for a new domestic total of $89.68M and a global haul of $144.56M.

The King’s Man came in third with $4.5M for a new domestic total of $19.51M. The global total now sits at $47.81M.

Fourth place went to American Underdog: The Kurt Warner Story with $4M for a domestic total of $15M.

The Matrix Resurrections rounded out the top five with $3.82M for a domestic total of $30.9M and a global haul of $106M.

The 355 is the only major release scheduled for this week.
