The first trailer for the Pet Sematary remake was just released and it reveals something very creepy is out there in the woods. The latest take on the famed Stephen King novel looks to go all out with the ominous theme that “sometimes dead is better.”
Dr. Louis Creed (Jason Clarke) relocates his family from Boston to rural Maine on a big property hidden in the woods. They later discover that not too far from their new home lies a mysterious pet burial ground. When tragedy strikes, Louis befriends his odd neighbor, Jud Crandall (John Lithgow), jumpstarting an unfortunate set of events that leads them back to the burial ground.
In the trailer, we get a peek at the creepy scenery of the woods where the burial ground seems to be bringing the dead back to life. It is put together by a disturbing drum beat that plays throughout the trailer that is sure to get your nerves on edge.
