Second place went to Verity with $11.48M for a new domestic total of $53.86M. It has taken in a further $60.1M in the foreign markets for a global total of $113.96M.
Resident Evil came in third with $8.35M for a new domestic total of $138.52M. It has taken in $181.7M in foreign markets for a global total of $320.22M.
Fourth place went to Heart of the Beast with $7.1M for a new domestic total of $49.66M. It has taken in $81.7M in the foreign markets for a global total of $131.36M.
The Social Reckoning opened in fifth place with $5.5M domestically, and $3.5M in the foreign markets for a global total of $9M.
The wide releases this week are Crawlers, Ranabaali, Sense and Sensibility, Street Fighter, Trust Me, I’m a Doctor, and Whalefall.
