Resident Evil came in second with $12.5M for a new domestic total of $124.89M. It took in $120.5M in foreign markets for a global total of $245.39M.
Third place went to Heart of the Beast with $11M for a new domestic total of $38.39M. It has taken in $60.3M in the foreign markets for a global total of $98.69M.
Primetime landed in fourth place with $8M for a new domestic total of $34.08M. It has taken in $280K overseas for a global total of $34.36M.
Rounding out the top five was Digger with $8M. It took in an additional $12M in the foreign markets for a global total of $20M.
The wide releases this week are Angel and the Batman, Other Mommy, The Social Reckoning, and Your Mother, Your Mother, Your Mother.
