Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen is nearing an order from Netflix to become a series.

According to Deadline, Netflix is nearing a deal to green light a series based on Guy Ritchie’s 2019 The Gentlemen. Ritchie co-wrote the pilot and will direct the first two episodes as well as serve as an executive producer. Also joining as executive producers will be Ivan Atkinson, Marn Davies, and Bill Block who worked on the film. Marc Helwig from Miramax RV and Will Gould & Matther Read from Moonage Pictures will also join.
The Gentlemen actually started off as a TV pitch before becoming a film. No word as of yet if anyone from the film will crossover to the series. With all of them being fairly busy it seems likely it would be an entirely new cast for the Netflix project.
