It seems we’re going to have to wait just a little bit longer to see Godzilla and King Kong throw down on the big screen.
Warner Brox. and Legendary have delayed Godzilla vs. Kong by eight months. Originally set to release on March 13, 2020, the film will now hit theaters on Nov. 20, 2020. Seeing as there has been absolutely no marketing of the film a mere four months out from the original release date, this isn’t that surprising.
The film follows on from Godzilla (2014), Kong: Skull Island (2017), and this year’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The last film met with a rather lackluster box office result taking in just $385.9M globally.
Godzilla vs. Kong is being directed by Adam Wingard and stars Julian Dennison, Brian Tyree Henry, Alexander Skarsgard, and Demian Bichir.
