The new Dune: Prophecy trailer gives us the first look at the upcoming prequel series to the feature films.

The first Dune: Prophecy teaser shows us the origins of the Bene Gesserit sisterhood a full 10,000 years before the rise of Paul Atriedes. Olivia Williams (Counterpart) and Emily Watson (Chernobyl) will star as Tula and Valya Harkonnen, respectively. The have risen to power within the sisterhood as they rise to power and become advisors to all of the Great Houses.
There is no word yet of how many episodes the series will consist of.
From the expansive universe of “Dune,” created by acclaimed author Frank Herbert, and 10,000 years before the ascension of Paul Atreides, DUNE: PROPHECY follows two Harkonnen sisters as they combat forces that threaten the future of humankind and establish the fabled sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit. DUNE: PROPHECY is inspired by the novel SISTERHOOD OF DUNE, written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson.
Dune: Prophecy 2 will debut on Max in the Fall.
