Typically toy companies announce products at Toy Fair in February and then use San Diego Comic-Con to show off what those final products will look like. This year, however, it seems that the companies were using SDCC as a mid-year point to show off unannounced products as well.
Hitting some highlights of the Diamond Select booth:
- Diamond Select showed off final versions of items such as the third wave of Pacific Rim Uprising figures, and an expansion into D-Formz. Jaegers should never be this adorable.
- The Star Trek line of ships will finally see the addition of the NCC-1701-C Enterprise. At last we can complete our fleet!
- Kingdom Hearts will see the addition of Tron figures.
- Marvel Gallery will be adding Mr. Sinister, Angela, Thor, and Spider-Man.
- The Marvel Premiere line will see Daredevil and Hobgoblin joining the ranks.
- DC is going to see a ton of additions such as Deathstroke, Darkseid, Batman Metal figures, and a ton more.
- Walgreens will be getting exclusive Avengers 1,000,000 B.C. figures.
It is going to be a huge year for Diamond Select. Prepare your wallets!
