LEGO at SDCC 2018 – The Future is Full of Bricks

LEGO was in full effect at SDCC 2018 from exclusives to life-sized recreations, it was a feast for the eyes.

To kick things off, LEGO had some new sets to show off. As promised, the Voltron set was being sold in limited numbers, but never fear, it will be available widely in the near future. Also on display were the first sets from The LEGO Movie 2, and they promised many more are on the way. (Like we expected any less…)

The James Bond Aston Martin set was there, but no one was using the ejector seat sadly.

As for displays and exclusives. The life-sized Millennium Falcon cockpit took 200,000 bricks to build and weighed 1,300 lbs. We asked when we could expect it on store shelves, but for some reason, we were laughed at.

We got a chance to look at all of the show exclusives with the Ant-Man and the Wasp set really catching our eye.

As for the other life-sized figures, the Aquaman was just darn cool. Especially for being in his classic color scheme.
